yeah, exactly what the title says, but related to the demoscene. i've been asked to make some of those, and maybe it's time to start. i'll leave some pointers here, if you feel like other subjects should be covered, feel free to comment.

- time signatures, bpm and daw integration

- functional harmony (chords, progressions and modulations)

- rhythm (polyrhythms and polymetrics - thanks kb! and sorry kb)

- melody construction

there are tons of videos about music theory on youtube, i don't want to reinvent the wheel. but it would be fun to analyse demoscene music and try to learn what tools were (consciously or unconsciously) used.
