inérciademoparty'2020

earlier this month, inércia demoparty 2020 happened. i decided to step out of the organizing team some time before - for various reasons - which gave me the time to actually work on some stuff for the party.

a couple of weeks before the event, i received a message from kb, asking me to do a bossa nova track. i never hesitated, of course. darya was in charge of the visuals and her and kb sang the lyrics i wrote for the music. kb engineered the whole thing together and the result was the winner demo of the party, "bossa de cores".

i couldn't be more honoured to have worked with these two amazing artists and human beings. it was indeed a pleasure.

some time before the party, i started making something for the streaming music compo. the problem is that it was too cinematic and maybe it didn't work alone without the help of some visuals. i downloaded some videos from pexels.com - which are license free, meaning you can freely use in your projects - and made a video that got 2nd place in the short film compo, called "awakening".

i've won the streaming music compo with something else that, meanwhile, i did, and the mixed in drone music compo as well, which was both surprising and amazing. i also made the music for a 4k intro with alien01 in two days, which got 5th place (out of 6...) but really showcased the possibilities we have here in portugal, in terms of coding and music. something has to be done, soon, right?
